Glencar Waterfall

Glencar Waterfall is famous for inspiring Ireland’s greatest poet W.B Yeats and features in his poem “The Stolen Child”.

It is situated near Glencar Lake and reaches 15 metres in height. It can be viewed from a lovely wooded walk. Facilities on site include a car park , a picnic area, public toilets , a playground, tea rooms and a tourist information point
