Welcome to Salamanca Tapas Bar & Restaurant, located near the new Home of Molly Malone on St Andrew St, Dublin 2.

Housed in a building which dates back to the late 1800’s, Salamanca was founded in 2001 as one of the first Tapas Bar and still remains top of the list for Spanish Tapas dishes in Dublin.

Accquired in October 2021 by the fifth generation Gibney Family who have been in the hospitality Industry in Dublin for over 200 years with numerous previous establishments in Dublin City.

Salamanca now unites with Gibney’s of Malahide , Gibney’s of Gormanston and Gibney’s of London under the JJ Gibney umbrella.

Our wide range of Quality Tapas & good Spanish wines are carefully chosen with the aim to whisk you from the mundane to the mediterannean in a prime city centre location. Salamanca prides itself on using only good quality fresh ingredients in it’s cooking.

Our Chefs work very closely with our suppliers, ensuring only top quality dishes and taste are brought to your table by friendly, efficient staff in a decor that is warm and inviting with a distinct Spanish feel.
