Tucked away in the scenic west of Ireland, Drioglann Loch Measc / Loch Measc Distillery offers an immersive introduction to Irish craft distilling. Set on the shores of Lough Mask in the town land of Coill an tSian (Killateeaun) – the “Fairy Wood”, our distillery is surrounded by raw, un-spoilt beauty. Towering hills, quiet woods, and one of Ireland’s cleanest lakes provide the perfect setting for those looking to connect with the land, the craft, and the culture of Irish spirits.

Our vision was to create something meaningful—spirits that capture the essence of this remarkable location and a distillery that respects tradition while embracing sustainability.

We officially began distilling in early 2018 producing three distinct spirits: Measc Gin, Loch Measc Vodka & Loch Measc Single Malt Whiskey (currently maturing) - each handcrafted in tiny batches using traditional copper pot stills made by master coppersmiths. These stills, based on the ancient Alembic design, are as much a work of art as they are a tool of the trade. You can see every hammer mark, and when you visit you’ll understand why we believe craft is about more than just flavor.
