Located in the heart of the Glen of Aherlow, in the grounds of an 18th century country estate, Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park is a family run park with fabulous views of the Galtee mountains.
They accept tents, caravans, and motorhomes (up to 8m in length), and their park is strictly touring, meaning there are no mobile homes in the park. For caravans and motorhomes, there are hard standings or grass pitches with electric hook up and there is a separate camping area on their well maintained grass field for campers. There are a total of 45 pitches and they offer their guests all the facilities they need for a relaxing stay. Some of the available facilities include internet access, a TV room, washing and ironing facilities and a campers kitchen.
Guests can explore the surrounding forest with looped walks starting at the entrance to the park. These walks range from beginner’s walks to something a little more challenging. If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous you can even climb nearby Galteemore. You will experience the beauty of the wildlife and nature in this peaceful hidden gem.
If walking or climbing are not your thing, you can try horse riding in the local equestrian centre and enjoy the pool in the local leisure centre. Other local activities include mountain biking, golfing, and sightseeing. On site, guests can enjoy beautiful and relaxing outdoor spaces, the Victorian walled garden, a children’s playground, tennis court, mini golf, and a shop.
Ballinacourty House Caravan and Camping Park are not a party park. They promote respect for fellow campers and a peaceful environment and expect their guests to respect their policy by not disturbing others.
