Ferry to Clare Island

Clare Island Fast Ferries operates the “True Light”, a 38 passenger ferry and is the fastest ferry to Clare Island with the journey taking just ten minutes; and the “Tormore”, a 96 passenger ferry. There is ample seating both indoors and outdoors and there are toilet facilities on board.

Our crew members are happy to answer any questions you may have throughout your journey. Both the “True Light” and “Tormore” ferry to Clare Island may be chartered for groups of eight or more.

Disability access is available on both ferries but, it is advisable to notify the crew in advance to ensure the maximum comfort for the passenger.

Both ferries are fully licensed by the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport.
